Hi guru, I am SPR and my future wife is a Singapore citizen. Our combined salary is between 8k and 10k and will soon exceed 10k. We are both first time buyer and want to apply for HDB grant. My understanding is that we can only get such grant if we are buying EC/EM/DBSS directly from HDB or developer. May I know if my understanding is correct and complete? And how about any resale EC/flat?
As we are both young and do not have enough saving (CPF and cash) for down payment for private condo, what alternative options are there for us and which is most suitable? Please kindly advise.
