Hi Guru,

My parents and I co-own a landed property in the north. But recently, my wife and I decided to purchase a executive flat of our own. Henceforth, would like to understand what is the procedure and cost to transfer my name to my sister if my share in the landled is like 15%. Also, what are the paper work if should the landed property is not full paid for yet.

Morning Bryan,

Are you looking at resale EC or new launches?
If you are looking at resale EC, you do not need to remove your name from the landed property as they are considered as 'semi' private, after MOP and 'fully' private after 10 years.
On the other hand, if you are looking at new EC, then legal and stamp fee will kick in which would be dependent on the law firm's rate and the value of the unit.
