Hi Guru,just want to check whether the exclusive letter that we sign with the agent will automatically become invalid after 3 months ? Does the agent need to request from the seller to sign again for any extension ?

Evening NL,

Most exclusive should only be valid for 3 months, unless stated otherwise. Being a seller, you need not wait for the exclusive to expire. You write to the salesperson's agency and give the salesperson verbal notice on the termination of the exclusive. However, do bear in mind that there are some other clause withint the exclusive agreement which still binds you to the salesperson, for a period of time.
