Hi Gurus, (i currently have a 5rm flat which is first time buy and after 5yrs of occupation)If i were to buy an EC, then 5 yrs later can i sell it? And can i buy a new/resale flat after i sell the EC?

Hi GL,

You are allowed to apply for new EC after fulfilling your MOP but you have to sell off your HDB before you gotten your new EC.

After 5 years of MOP, you are allowed to sell off your new EC to PRs or SCs.

You are allowed to purchase BTO provided you fulfilled the 30 months waiting period after sale of new EC while for resale flats, you just need to dispose it within 6 months from resale flat purchase completion.
