Hi Gurus, I will like to know which will be the better option? To do a contra by selling my current flat and buying one from the open resale market or to apply through HDB for the sale of new flat? Need to know more on the financial calculation part. Hope someone can assist. Thanks.

Afternoon Howard,

To do contra, you will be likely to get bank loan where you need to pay 5% cash and COV. 15% of the downpayment can be settled by CPF.
If you purchase BTO, you will the paying 5% cash and possible levy payable, if you are using bank loan and if your current have being purchase with grant or directly from HDB.

Do feel free to contact me if you require further discussion.
