Hi William,

1) As a Singapore Citizen you have the option of buying either a resale HDB flat or a BTO/SBF.
2) You are eligible to buy an HDB flat under the family Scheme. You must include both your daughter as an occupier in your application.
3) However due to you already crossed 65 yrs old, you properly won't be able to get an HDB loan or a bank loan.
4) Thus you have to use cash for the purchase.
5) If you are buying a BTO, you may submit your application here: https://homes.hdb.gov.sg/home/landing
6) If you are buying a resale flat, you should be able to receive the HDB housing grant of $80k for a 4-rm or smaller flat.
7) You are also eligible for EHG if your salary not exceeding $9k. Also, PHG of $20k if you are purchasing within 4km of your parent(s) or siblings.

The key consideration now is how are you going to finance the property? You will need to assess if you are still eligible to loan either from HDB or bank basing on your income and your age (a huge doubt).

You can try apply for HLE as well as bank loan in principle approval first before you embark on the home search if you require a home loan for the purchase.
