Hi

I am planning to upgrade to a condo and wonder if I can keep and rent out my hdb., because I might want to keep the location for kids' primary school in future. Pls advise. Assuming financials are ok. It's more of a legal question. Thank you.

Hi,

As long as you have fulfilled the MOP for HDB, you can buy a condo and keep your HDB. If you have no outstanding loan for your HDB, you can get 80% bank loan. With outstanding loan, the bak will only loan 60%.

Please feel free to drop me an email or call me directly for a non-obligation discussion, if you still have further questions.

Thank you & Best Regards
