Hi i need to sell my flat. more or less sure of the finances but not very sure if i need to pay "upgrading levy". My flat has gone thru LUP and the invoice haven't receive, maybe until Jan 2013. both husband and me are SPR.

Evening,

Whoever is the owner at the time of billing will be responsible for the LUP charges. If you want to avoid the billing, it would be good to start working on it as marketing plus transaction timing will take about 4 to 5 months. However, if you managed to convert to SC within one year from billing, you will only pay the amount payable by SC.
