Hi, I recently signed up an agent to buy a resale house. However, I dont like the way my agent communicates and I dont think she has our best interest at heart. I signed her up as an agent. Is it possible if I dont want her to represent me as an agent anymore? Any repercussions or payment to be made?

Can I understand which phase of transaction are you currently at? If the option have be issued it will be tougher to change your mind, as she is the one that handle the paperwork. Otherwise there is still chance that you can change your mind.

Instead of looking to terminate the marketing agreement, I always believe that communication is key to a winning partnership. This assignment to market your property is not only the agent's job, but it requires great cooperation and collaboration with the owners.

Why not communicate your concerns upfront with the appointed agent to understand also her point of view? I am unsure of what are the contentions you may have that she is not looking after your interest, but I believe it will be good if you can let her know about how you feel and see if there is any improvement towards the working relationship. If it still does not work out, perhaps you can get in touch with us to see how we can assist you better.
