Hi i would like to know if i'm still eligible for HDB loan. Few years back i had purchase a 5rooms flat with my ex spouse. We had annulled the marriage & transfer the flat to him. I got my CPF back. Now i have married again & i'm thinking of getting a 4 room flat with my hubby who is a first timer. I have submitted our HLE & looking forward for a favourable reply. What are the cost if i were to purchase a resale 4 room flat? Will HDB check on our financial commitments? I believe this application would be consider as 2nd timer. I'm very worried.

Afternoon,

From your statement, you had performed a part sales to your ex. Hence your current application will be considered as 2nd HDB loan. Prior to any financial institute approving your loan, they will check on your credit status and commitments. As for the cost involved in buying resale, it would include the following: COV, Stamp / Legal fee, Agent Commission and Profit split, depending on your case.
