My wife and I are joint-tenancy in our 3-gen flat. We have fulfilled 2.5 years of MOP.
We have listed my Mum and sister as occupiers to meet the eligibility requirements of owning 3-gen flat. My Mum had to sell her previous flat as part of the requirements to become occupier so as to meet the 3-gen eligibility.
My question:
1) Within this MOP, how can my Mum or sister buy a resale flat (remove their names from becoming occupier). As they do not want to live with us anymore.
2) What are the consequences or financial implications if my Mum or sister wants remove their names as occupiers within MOP? Will it result in us having to sell the 3-gen house as we no longer meets the eligibility requirements.
3) On what basis does HDB allows existing occupiers (Mum and sister) to delist themselves.
