hi! may i know what does it mean by the paragraph below? does it mean i cant get a hdb loan if my last owned property was hudc? how about condo? thank you

Have taken one housing loan from HDB and the last owned property is not a private residential property (local or overseas) such as:
HUDC flat
Property acquired by gift
Property inherited as a beneficiary under a will or as a result of the Intestate Succession Act
Property owned/ acquired/ disposed of through nominees

Hi,

Yes you can't get HDB loan if you owned a private property such as HUDC within the last 30 months. May I have more info and requirements about your plans so to make better recommendations? Thanks and look forward to value-add to your housing plans.

Hi

As most HUDC nowadays has been privatised, it is considered as a private property and you are not eligible for a HDB loan if you disposed it off within 30 months of applying. HDB loan is also only applicable for HDB purchases and not private property. For second timer, alot of my client did choose to take a bank loan anyway although they are still eligible for HDB loan as a bank loan is beneficial to them in most cases. It seems the HDB loan is not an option for now. Bank loans remains the other option if you're not paying in full.
Considering current bank ultra low rates, it may not be a bad idea to consider.
