1) You are right that the actual pink IC and passport will only be ready in 6 months' time. This will not be shortened but might delay due to the current covid situation.
2) You will have to go through the process of renounce of your current citizenship. This process timing will depend on each individual country's embassy.
3) If you make your purchase now, you will be buying at the capacity as an SPR, provided you have already been holding this status for a minimum of 3 years.
4) Thus shall be subjected to 5% ABSD. All rules and regulations imposed on SPR shall remain until you receive your citizenship.
5) If your intention is to buy at the capacity as a citizen. You can only offer an OTP not earlier than the date you collect your citizen Passport.
6) Collection of Pink ID and solemnization is on the same day, but the collection of the passport will be 1 week after. Thus time your OTP offering carefully.
