hi my name is jefri... i lived in Sengkang Anchorvale rd in a 5I...since 2006..this is my second hdb apt...i plan to sell my 5room and downgrade to 3 room unit..what is the terms and conditions..currently Im overseas.... contact me ASAP

Afternoon Jefri,

Have you fulfilled your MOP of 5 years or should I ask: When did you applied to rent out your whole unit?

If you have fulfilled your MOP, you are eligible to sell your 5 room flat and downgrade. Bank loan would be good for you but it would be good to contact local banker to work the details for you.

Being overseas, will there be any chance that you are coming back to settle the paperwork? Will you be assigning power of attorney and have some of the essential documents signed under Notary Public?

The terms and condition would be that you must have fulfilled the MOP for your Anchorvale unit before the sale. You will need to fulfil the Minimum Occupation Period of 5 years.

If so, it would be great if you liase with a banker with regards to financing. I can provide the contacts for your preferred banks.

That will determine your next course of action(buy->sell, sell->buy)
