Hi,

My wife and I had sign for a BTO project which will be due hopefully end of 2011.

I am now financially stable and it is a buyer market right now. I would like to invest now but I am tied down to the clause of hdb that I will not be able to buy private property until 5 years of occupancy.

We love the new place and at the same time exceed the salary ceiling for buying a new flat thus we would like to hold on to this flat.

Is there any way that I can buy private property and is there any risk?

Warmest Regards,
Alex
