How do I deal with this situation? My landlord has just installed new air con units. She’s asked me to run the air con in the room that I’m not occupying once every week. She thinks that if it’s not run, the unit will spoil. Now she wants to come over every two weeks to turn it on, wait for twenty minutes and leave. I’m finding this to be so intrusive.

So which option is better for you? To turn on the unit on your own once every week or have the landlord come over once every 2 weeks to turn on the aircon? Other than being intrusive, what are your concerns? Have you communicated your concerns to the landlord? Read More
