As a PR, I suggest you buy your own home if possible.

As for the rejection, this is the owner's right to determine who he or she wants to rent out to. This is often based on their past experiences with previous tenants who may have left their house in a very bad state. Properties are big ticket items. As such, any damage can be costly. to renovate and to fix. I hope you understand.

I have had many owners tell me the same thing when I assist them to rent out their properties. So, it is not new and nothing can be done about it.
