I am a SPR and my wife a SC. We jointly own an fully paid hdb flat. Is it possible for me to transfer the flat to be fully owned by my wife (i am an occupier or something like that)? Will that enable me to avoid the additional tax i have to pay for the 2nd property if i buy? thanks.

Morning Peter,

As far as I know, since you are PR, you are not eligible to transfer the ownership of the HDB unit to your spouse as the unit would have being purchased unit public scheme.
