Yes you can change a property agent provided you did not sign an Exclusive Estate Agency Agreement for the Purchase of Residential Property or you have not committed to a purchase. If you have signed an exclusive, you can change an agent after the 3 months exclusive period lapse. I'm sorry to hear that you were dissatisfied with the agent's service.

Hi Jack,

1) It is regret that you did not work well with the current agent.
2) You may terminate his service immediately even if you have signed an exclusive agreement with him.
3) The only thing I have to remind you is that in the event you decided to buy any units he had recommended and brought you for viewing. You will still be liable to pay him the commission as promised.
4) This restriction period is 3 months from the expiry of the agreement signed.
5) You may also voice out what he did not do to satisfy your needs and see if this could be improved.
