I am below 35 years old and I'm about to marry a foreigner. I understand that I can only be eligible for the non-citizen spouse scheme. However, do I still have to produce my marriage certificate before applying for my HDB flat? I am planning to get a resale flat. Also my income is above 6000, what grants am I entitled to besides proximity housing grant. Thanks.

Hi,

To be eligible to purchase a HDB resale flat, you will still need to produce your marriage certificate. You do not need to produce the marriage certificate if you're purchasing a private property.

As your income is above $6000, you are not eligible for CPF Housing Grant. You are eligible for Proximity Grant provided you meet the eligibility conditions.

Should you need any further assistance in matters relating to property, please contact me at my mobile 9748 6305  . I will be happy to assess and share with you the possibilities for you in the current market.

Thank you.
