Hi Potential buyer,

Let me touch on some issues first.

Have your unit fulfill the applicable minimum occupation period? If yes, you are well eligible to purchase another property.

Without any outstanding housing loan, you will be eligible to loan up to 80% of valuation/ purchase price. 20% downpayment will consists of 5% cash, 15% CPF.

Bear in mind, you have to keep a minimum sum in your CPF account before you can proceed to purchase another unit if you are going to use any CPF funds.

Other fees will be buyer's stamp duty of (3% x Purchase price) -$5400 and legal fees.

Btw do you have any schools in mind? So it will aid in the property search.

Hi,

Since you are staying in Woodlands now, I would like to recommend 2 top schools that are at the north side of Singapore.

1) Ai Tong – There are a few condo nearby, you will probably want to look at The Gardens at Bishan
2) Rosyth – There is only one condo nearby, Regentville.

You should be able to find a condo within your budget.
