Hi,

There is no certainty whether it will go enbloc. The enbloc process is a tedious one, and even if residents voted for enbloc, there is still a reserve price to meet. Whether the developers will meet the reserve price is another matter altogether.

If you are the owner, and you do not wish to sell, you may choose to vote NO for your vote to increase your chances of not going enbloc.

I am experienced and well-versed in both HDB and private transactions. I will be able to assist you in your property plans. Please get in touch with me for a more in-depth discussion.

Hi,

I would be most glad to assist you further and please feel free to let me know if you need any assistance. Have a good day ahead. By the way, it may or may not happen as no one could predict. So you may wish to go for a newer condo if that is your concern.

With diminishing supply line in the primary market, there is definitely good chance that the project may attempt a collective sale in the near future, however, no one is able to predict when is that going to happen, as well as if it will be successful. The entire process can be relatively lengthy depending any complications to the process. To obtain the consent to market for collective sale, there must be close to 170 owners who must agree with the sale before it kickstarts, of which for some units, there maybe more than 1 owner involved therefore the entire process is definitely not so straightforward.

If you are able to snap up a unit at reasonable price range, I'd think that it is still prudent to go ahead but it maybe likely that most home owners who are looking to sell in the private market have already factored in the collective sale potential into their existing price.
