I am single, above 35 and never had a property under my name. I'm interested in the new upcoming EC. Where can I find another single to get onboard? And is it advisable to do that?

Or what other options can i consider?

Are your siblings in the same situation as you? Maybe can consider to apply with them as joint singles. Otherwise, will have to link up with a friend to work out an arrangement while also fulfilling the new EC eligibility conditions. Do note that you need to stay at the new EC for 5 years before you can sell away upon MOP

Hi,

You can refer to HDB website for the eligible schemes. Other than with family members or partners, you can apply together with up to 3 singles applicant.

However, like most of my peers have mentioned, you need to find someone that you trust a lot but that also doesn't mean there won't be any issue next time.

You can consider private property which can be a better option in terms of opportunity cost (No MOP restriction but subject to SSD depending when you sell) and also you can buy under your own name and you can have full control of the property.

With the rising cost of land sale for EC, there could be some alternative in Private property market that suit you.
