Hi Spencer,

1) In an HDB purchase, the spouse must be included in a purchase application.
2) THus when she uses her name to buy another HDB flat, the HDB will need you to dispose of your flat within 6 months upon key collection.
3) Only when she is buying a private property then there is no such restriction.

Hope the above answer your main concerns, but if there are more query, please feel free to contact me at 90110636  , or email: ling.ck7@gmail.com if more information is needed.
I'll be glad to assist.

Hi Spencer,

Yes, your wife can purchase a HDB flat using her name. However, do take note that you will need to be either a co-owner or an essential occupier for that flat. This means that you will need to dispose off your current HDB flat latest within 6 months upon her HDB flat purchase.

Should you wish to hold onto your flat, she could purchase a private residential instead. Both of you will be able to hold onto your respective properties this way.

I am experienced and well-versed in both HDB and private transactions. I will be able to assist you in your property plans. Please get in touch with me for a more in-depth discussion.

Should you need require further assistance in matters relating to property, please contact me at my mobile 9748 6305  . I will be happy to assess and share with you the possibilities for you in the current market.

Thank you.

Best regards,
