I just sold my private property and I still own the Hdb apartment.I like to know whether I need to wait for 30 mths if I want to buy an EC.

Morning Izzy,

If you are referring to resale EC, no. You can start with your purchase immediately. But if you are looking at new launch EC, yes.

Hi Izzy,

New EC launches - you have to wait 30 months as you had mentioned.

Resale EC - You can purchase it like normal private properties.

Hi lzzy,

The 30 months waiting period only applied if you are buying a New EC.
You can go ahead to buy a resale EC now.
