i met all criteria to buy 2 room flexi flat. Can i buy the 2 room flexi flat in open market or must i search in the HDB portal. Interested in those flats whereby the owners already decease or give up their flat

2 room flexi are special cases whereby the leases are sold as 45yrs, 40yrs, 35yrs, 30yrs, 25yrs, 20yrs, 15yrs ie to cover the buyers till age 95 yrs. Buyers have to be 55yrs or above.These are only transacted thro HDB. You can't but this type on the resale market.

You can check out the HDB website BTO or SBF which are offered for sale once every quarterly.
