Are you a Singaporean citizen? If so, you are allowed to move into the private property and rent out the HDB, after the MOP of 5 years are fulfilled. Do note ABSD of 17% applies on the 2nd residential purchase, and this has not included the normal buyer stamp duty of approx 3%.
