I would like to rent out my dad’s 2-room flexi flat in Yishun.
Recently placed my dad in a nursing home to continue his rehabilitation as I’ll have to move overseas for work by the end of this year. I’m looking to submit an appeal to HBD to allow me to rent out his vacant 2-room flexi flat to cover his monthly medical + nursing home fee and help lighten my load financially. He has a short-term 40 year lease on his flat, fully paid, and collected keys in early 2022
Context:
I am the caretaker of my single divorcee dad suffering from a stroke and the sole breadwinner of my own household with my mum and younger sister. I am also supporting my younger sister through her Uni now.
What are my chances of approval from HDB? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
