I would like to see if I can terminate exclusive with my current agent is it possible?
1. Information not passed down accurately from buyer to seller.
2. Redo OTP. Seller pay for OTP not buyer paying. Though we are willing to pay but he only informed us on the day of re-signing OTP.
3. Keep telling me to sell 20k below my asking price. Though the x value is higher.
4. Not happy with my reply. He simply go MIA.

Hi, if the unit is not sold yet, you can terminate the exclusive at any point of time with no question ask. But if the unit has just been sold, the seller is still liable to pay for the agent commission.

What do you mean by redo OTP and seller pay for OTP?

If the property has already been sold with OTP issued, what are you going to do if you terminate the services? Termination of exclusive agreement can be done with proper evidences and reasons, but how will it help in the current situation you are in?

There are many ways to do about handling such situation. It seems to me that you have issued your OTP. If that's the case, the completion process will be executed once the buyer exercise the option. If not, you can always terminate the exclusive.

I am sorry to hear about your bad experience. May I know what kind of property are you selling? Because, I am not sure why does anyone need to pay for the OTP? Did you engage a lawyer to draft the OTP?

Also, if you had granted the OTP to the Buyer, the ball will be in the Buyer's court, whether to exercise the OTP or not. You will not be able to back out from the deal.
