If I buy my first house in Ang Mo Kio, will I be getting the live-near-the-parents grant if they live in Bishan?

Hi,

You need to make sure the HDB flat you are buying is within 2km of your parent's place.

Afternoon,

You need to purchase a unit that's between the borders of AMK and Bishan, to ensure that your unit falls within the 2km requirement, in order to get the necessary housing grant. However, do note that your parents will have limitation, if they were to choose to move within your 5 years MOP period.
