Initially, I had no intention of engaging an agent to look out for flats on sale, but planned to check out the various listings in the newspapers and on this website myself. After calling up an agent in response to one of the listings, she offered to bring me to view available flats and we had viewed several. I had not signed any agreement or contract with this agent, though she asked me not to call up other agents and just let her help me with the search. My observation from the listings on this website is that there are several flats available in the specific area/blocks that I prefer, but the agent says that there are none/few available when I asked about the specific blocks. Should I directly call up the agents advertising the flats? Will this agent currently serving me ask for any payment if I eventually do not purchase through her, since she has already brought me to view quite a few flats, though there was no agreement signed?
