Please guide me how am I going to tell the hdb branch in Toa Payoh as I already sign the OTP with the agent plus therefore I call the Yishun hdb branch the officer is kind of harsh telling me NO you can’t do that as I’m just a essential occupier can’t my ex husband just remove my name from the currently hdb flat which I’m staying with my child?

Good afternoon,

If you had been classified as essential occupier of the unit with your ex-spouse, you are to have it removed once the court order is out. Without that been done, you are not eligible to ink the OTP for purchase for another unit.
