The asking price of close to $3 million for a 1500sqft unit can buy a freehold landed terrace in a better district with excess cash for 2 brand new Mercedes Benz C-class. Why would anyone pay this price for a unit at J Gateway?

Hi Larry,

The intangible values could be way more significant than the dollars and cents which you are focusing on. Since transactions have been done and caveats lodged, let's just move on from this episode.

    Didn't know the intangible benefit of living in Jurong East could be converted to a $3 million price tag. I wonder why the thousands of home owners selling their properties in Jurong East don't think that way...hmmm
