Although the property market has softened and sales have reduced by 50% as compared with the last quarter of 2007,most sellers are still holding their prices and few are slightly lowering or just by a little.
Consultants still remain bullish on Sg's pty market and we still have a large numbers of current buyers still looking to invest (although the figures are much less to last year)and most willing to pay fair market prices for properties.
Some investors feel any fallout market is the golden opportunity for those foresighted people to enter into. Like yourself, you believe the market will appreciate in 2years?
You can check the ura caveats for property movements in areas you feel is best to invest in. As said, the best bet would be the 3 areas:
Orchard, Retail
Lifestyle, Sentosa,IR
Financial, CBD area
If not just the outskirts.
