Hillsta is a project which is performing decently well but from an investment perspective, you may want to get a normal unit as compared to a townhouse so that it is easier to sell and exit in the future.

At your age, you may not want to overstretch yourself as well since I assume you would prefer to retire and enjoy life sooner as compared to later.

Hi,

Ideally, if the finances can afford, it will be ideal to go for a pure landed instead of a townhouse or cluster house, as the buyer pool for pure landed is typically larger than that of a townhouse.

If the plans is to sell within the next 5 to 10 years, suggest to go for pure landed or a 999-leasehold or freehold larger older apartment nearer to areas with new infrastructure in the pipeline to rejuvenate the area (new condos, or near new mrt etc.), so you can enjoy another round of capital appreciation and secure the retirement upon the next sale.

Perhaps it will be good to work out the numbers first before working out the best approach to take on. May I know the primary school he is enrolling in?
