We have rented a unit in mid June'14 and noted it's getting both morning and afternoon sun and there are few more issues which makes the unit unlivable for my family and my 10 months old baby. It is too hot during the day and we didn't realise (or not being informed) it when we veiw it in the night. The water presure of all bathrooms are unbearably slow too. So we've decided to move out because of these issues and now the owner and the agent claiming below.
-Two months rental deposit to be forefeited
-Asking us to pay another one month rent for agent fee. As an additional info, owner didn't pay the agent fee and asked us to pay full on behalf as well. We only met one agent all the time (even during the veiwing)and she is the owner's agent.
-asking us to pay monthly rental till the owener finds a new tenant
Is this true?
Is there a place that we can seek assistance to solve this issue in fair grounds?
