1) hdb upgrader, staying at jurong
2) looking to buy next pte condo for own stay
3) budget around 1.2m

And wondered is Le wood/ gardenvista a good buy for me as i like their location but keen getting feedback that it is a 99 years leasehold that may have difficulties to resell in future?

As i need to plan carefully selling the HDB and upgrade to pte condo, is new launch that near TOP date a viable choice?

Evening,

In today's market, enbloc is the way to go hence if the leasehold property is well located, it may give you better possible return. Since you are selling your HBD to facilitate the upgrade, do you have a place to stay after selling? If not, buying a property that's due for TOP soon will be a wise choice.

Do feel free to contact me for further discussion.

Hi,

I understand your concern, but 99-year leasehold condos may not necessarily mean they have lower resale value. It might be a concern when the lease falls to 60 years and below, but both Le Wood & Garden Vista enjoy good locality factors, have 80 over years lease left, and the area is expecting the Downtown Line completion in 2016.

May I understand your requirements further so to value-add to your housing plans? There are also a few other comparable projects around the Hillview area worth exploring. I would be glad to listen and share more so you can make a prudent decision. Thank you and I hope to hear from you soon!

Warm regards,
