Nope you can’t as your mum would need to dispose of the private property first and then observe a wait out period of 15 months.

Hi,

Unfortunately no, as she needs to sell away her private property first, wait out 30 months, before she is eligible to purchase the resale hdb with you. You can buy private property under your own name no issue.

Hi,

1) You will have to meet the various conditions listed by the HDB in order to buy an HDB flat.
2) First of all, if your mum is still under the married status. She cannot buy any HDB flat with anyone else other than her spouse.
3) A married couple must have both their names in the application for buying an HDB flat.
4) Secondly, if your mum owns a private residential property then she will have to observe a 15-month wait-out period before being eligible to buy an HDB flat if she is under 55 years old.
5) If your mum owns an industrial or commercial private property for her own business, then (4) is not applicable.
6) If your mum is not under a married status and does not own a private residential property, and the private industrial/commercial property owned is for her own business, she may joint name with you to buy a resale HDB flat.
