Free Deed of Gift of property.

I am Joint Tenant with my mother in a private residential property.

There is no mortgage outstanding anymore, and no CPF of anybody was ever used it in its purchase, so there is no CPF charge. I am not under any bankruptcy proceeding.

I wish to gift my share to my mother via a Deed of Gift.

Mine is a very simple situation and I want to do it myself without engaging a lawyer. I have the time to DIY. Or at the most pay small sums where lawyers are absolutely required, like Statutory Declarations etc.

Kindly advise if this possible.

Hi,

You would still be required to go thru a law firm for that purpose.

It is possible to DIY, but it still encouraged to go through the process with a law firm which has the experience of such transfer via gift transactions to guide you through the whole process. After all this is a multi million property transfer that I presume you would want all gaps covered to fully meet your objectives. Below link content seems relevant to your scenario
