hello Experts

Why tenants are prioritized Instead of landlords but the commissions are paid by the landlords? Case in point where the terms and conditions were clearly being drawn out by the landlord but the agent ignored it. Instead agent kept on getting the wrong profiles, insisted on ridiculous Low pricing, slow on updating plus just 1 viewing a month!

Hi Vincent,

I would be most glad to assist you further and pls feel free to let me know if you need any assistance. Have a good day ahead. By the way, the landlord has every right and flexibility to change their agent at any point in time.

Hi Vincent,

Without knowing the actual situation you are in, it is difficult to answer your question, but just by judging from what you have said, it is likely that you are either working with a wrong agent, or your expectations could be unrealistic given current market conditions.

Overall rental market has slowed down significantly during the 2nd half of this year, thus if we were to really answer your question accurately, we need to know what exactly is going on to avoid being judgemental or bias towards anyone.

I have been in the real estate business since 2009, with more than 14 years of experience serving the Singapore real estate market.

I am very active in the residential segment of Singapore real estate market, having transacted hundreds of deals from HDBs to private condominiums and landed properties in Singapore, and have handled many unique cases in sales and purchases as well as rental deals.

Over the years, I have also established a network reaching out to more than 9,400 expatriates, bringing my market presence to both in and outside of Singapore. This has created an additional exposure when I manage my client's portfolios, on top of the conventional on and offline platforms, where other estate agents are relying on. This has allowed me to consistently convert leads into results.

With an evolving market, where change is the only constant, I have also been investing in upgrading of my knowledge and skills sets to improve myself and meet the demands of current and future market.

We are offering our clients a complimentary first consultation without obligations (Absolutely FREE!). Schedule for your FREE session today!

I agree with you, did you sign an exclusive agreement with this agent? Consider engaging a more responsive one perhaps.

    Hi expert
Thanks for the reply. Basically a list was given to agent Long ago on the profile of tenants needed. But instead agent went on showing unsuitable prospects via texting. 1 actual viewing a month and doesn’t respond after that. Landlord needs to prod for updates frequently. Simply dragging the case for 3 whole months to date. Without any other viewings or appointments made!
This is very unprofessional and irritating behaviour. Even just an update on the progress would have be appreciated
