based on my humble opinions, i think Waterview is definitely better than Tropica. The latter is already 9 years old and the price will likely not appreciate as quickly as Waterview even though both are 99yr leasehold.

Hi Jill,

Since you had already bought Waterview and required a place to stay for 3 years, you may want to buy Tropica as well.

Firstly, Singapore property market is on the uptrend now, so I believed that Tropica will appreciate after 3 years.

Secondly, UWCSEA is completing soon and you will not have any problem finding tenant. So in term rental yield, you will not lose out either if you decide not to sell.

Thirdly, if you need to place to stay during these 3 years, isn’t it better to invest in a property rather than wasting resource to rent a place.

Congrats on getting your Waterview.
In fact, many tropica residents are proud the new proud owners of Waterview as well.

I have been marketing The Tropica for more than 3years and have personally sold more than 50 units here.

Many of my buyers whom have seen Tropica feels very much at home, even though its 10 yrs. Breezy project, convenient location. This project is also featured in geomancy.net as well if you believe in fengshui.

For a typical 3 bedder, the size is appox 1238sqft with no balcony;Compared to Waterview which is appox 1119-1184Sq ft including 2 balconies.

If you own both units, it will give you an option of larger space at a better value.
Be it living in Tropica or waterview, you find that its benefits outweigh many projects in this area.

I do have a few units here if you would allow me to share more with you on The Tropica.
