Hi Elmi Yusnita,

May I ask if you are a Singapore Citizen?
Foreigner who is buying a land or landed property within mainland Singapore needs approval from the Land Dealing Unit of SLA.
Where in any particular place or region are your interest in building?
I am working on a GCBA land size of 21,000sf in Upp Bukit Timah region and may be able to share some info.

Hi Elmi Yusnita,

Under the Residential Property Act, Foreigners and Permanent Residents are not allowed to buy landed properties or land parcels for residential use. Approval has to be granted by the Controller of Residential Property, Land Dealings Unit.
Application must be made in person.
Also note that the property must be bought for owner occupation and landed properties to be purchased cannot exceed a land size of 15,000 sf.
