As both the unit are purchased under single scheme, and married couple are considered as an entity, you are required to sell either unit upon updated your maritial status to HDB.

Hi Annie, I had a client that is in a similar situation as you are. They got married and reported their marital status to HDB. The flat that has completed MOP has to be sold, if not you will be required to pay a penalty fee for selling before completing the MOP period.

If you choose to sell the flat that has yet to complete its MOP, please speak to me first, to advise you further.
