Hi. I am a PR and just had my first HDB meeting 2 days back. I came to know that the Upgrading fees for my hdb was not paid by the seller. I was not informed of this before I had signed the papers. I had enquired about any due payments and was told all payments were up to date. Then suddenly 2 days back at the first meeting I was informed that I will need to pay 30k Upgrading fees. I met the sellers agents many times before I got an agent from my side but no one is ready to take the responsibility. My 2nd meeting is Oct end of 2013. The billing for upgrading of lift will be next year in 2014. I am at a big loss as I am already paying a lot for stamping fee and now this additional expense which I had no idea about cause if I did I wouldn't have taken this HDB unit. What are the things I can do in this case?Can I postpone the 2nd meeting till April 2014? Can I ask the HDB to bill the payment to my seller before the 2nd meeting in October? Kindly help!
