After the OTP for the sales of your HDB have been exercised, the ABSD payable for the purchase of the private property will be 5% which is payable by cash.
Something to note, in the event your daughter is still a foreigner, including her as one of the owners of the private property will result in higher ABSD.

Hi,

Yes the stamp duty amount will be based on the highest stamp duty profile of all buyers, which in your case will be SPR 5% ABSD , assuming you buy after your HDB is sold.

This 5% is in addition to the extra 3% BSD and on top of the purchase price. Suggest to sell off the HDB first before buying so you avoid the higher ABSD rate. May also be ideal not to include your daughter name, since her name will be free next time to purchase another private condo under her own sole name.
