Evening Dennis,

With the purchase of new EC, you are binded by HDB ruling indicating that you are not to have any interest on any other private property till the MOP have being fulfilled.
Should you insist on getting the private property, HDB have the right to revoke your application and deem the application and void. You will also lose your deposit.

Hi,

Unfortunately you have to wait for 5 years after MOP before you can consider a 2nd property. You may want to consider commercial property instead, but the loan attainable may not be very high with your current commitments. Thanks and hope to assist with your plans further.

Alternatively, you can consider commercial or industrial property for investment purposes.

Unfortunately, you will not be able to purchase a 2nd residential property due to the Minimum Occupation Period that is imposed by the HDB.
