Asked by Mr. Haron Ali
Hi, I need some help here. I added my name to my parents hdb 3 years ago. I recently got married and tried balloting for a BTO. Got a queue no. I believe i got more ballot chance bcuz I indicated parents living within 2km. My parents are deciding to replace my ownership with my sister's. Which means to say, later on, my sister will return back my cpf and she will continue paying the mortgage. We dont intent to do it now but probable 1 yr before my bto possession. Is this allowable? Will i still be able to get the 'near parents' grant? I am suppose to go for the hse selection next month. I am very worried if my option fee will be forfeited if hdb do not allow this. I am waiting for hle approval and do note that my spouse have at least 10% of the hse value for the down payment. Will i loss my queue no. If i decide not to buy using 'near parents' grant? Im just worried if they need to sell the hse before 5 years after my bto possession. Thanks in advance for your help!! And plse help!!
