Hi,

I was brought to view an apartment by my agent. However, I am not satisfied with services provided by my agent after 1st viewing. My agent was busy with his other potential clients whom viewed the same apartment at the same time and hence, he was not available to attend to me. On the other hand, the seller's agent was more attentive.

If I would like to proceed with purchasing the apartment, can I switch agent at this stage?

Thank you for your kind advices.

Hi Guest,

You're always allowed to do so as there's no legal procedures binding you to this "busy" agent of yours. But on the other hand, it wouldn't be ethical as the agent you're engaging is the one who brought you to that particular unit in the first place.

However, if his negligence is intolerable up to a certain extent. I suggest you to switch to someone you're more comfortable with. A good agent can be at your service for a long time. More of a friend then a facilitator managing only your properties.
