Hi,

Unfortunately you will have to give up your BTO application if you decide to purchase a resale HDB now. You may also have to forfeit the downpayment and stamp duties paid if you have already selected an unit.

Yes, you can purchase a HDB resale flat. However, you will have to give up your BTO application. You will also need to serve the 5-year MOP for the resale flat before you're able to apply for another BTO, or purchase another property.
