Hi, My divorce has been finalized and court order state to sell the house in open market subjected to HDB approval. However when we tried to appeal HDB reject and informed to surrender the flat instead as MOP has not reach 5 yrs. I have sole care and control of the child. Please advise if you have faced similar situation, please advice what can i do

Hi, have you tried going to the hdb hub personally to address and appeal to the hdb officer? And by the way, appeal is on a case to case basis and hope you will have a favorable reply from them.

Afternoon,

Based on similar cases, HDB will normally grant the approval for resale unless you are less than 3 years into MOP. You might want to submit the appeal again, along with all supporting documentation. However, do note that as such appeal are subjected to prior review and approval and there's a limited time for you to sell, you might be slightly pressed for time.
